DON DUDLEY Activated Walls

Edited by Thomas Zander.
Published by Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther König, Cologne.
Introduction by Jeff Rian
69 pages,
30 illustrations

Don Dudley’s work is a unique form of Minimal Art representing a dialogue between the practices of the American East and West Coasts. For the first time this publication brings together drawings from the 1980s by the American artist. The works on paper served as a starting point for large-scale wall installations realised at the Queens Museum in New York, the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York and the Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Denmark among other venues.
