Victor Burgin in: The 80’s Photographing Britain

This exhibition is the most comprehensive to date exploring the development of photography in the UK in the 1980s. It features over 70 photographers and collectives and highlights a generation that explored new ideas and practices in photography. Significant developments are explored, from advancements in color photography to the influence of cultural theory by scholars such as Victor Burgin and Stuart Hall.
