Les Rencontres de la Photographie, Arles

The A Foundation, Astrid Ullens de Schooten Whettnall’s Collection, presents over 5,500 photographs by 100 photographers collected over the past 30 years, including photographers such as Robert Adams, Diane Arbus, Lewis Baltz, Peter Downsbrough, Mitch Epstein, Lee Friedlander, Anthony Hernandez, Tarrah Krajnak, Helen Levitt, Max Regenberg, Judith Joy Ross, Larry Sultan and Henry Wessel. The book SAGA. A Photographic Journey, from Lewis Baltz to Tarrah Krajnak is to be published to coincide with the exhibition. It includes renowned artists such as Lewis Baltz, Lee Friedlander, Helen Levitt and Walker Evans, and also young photographers like Francesco Neri, Georges Senga, Massao Mascaro and Tarrah Krajnak.
