In 2026, the Pauli Prize will be awarded for the 50th time. One of Germany’s most prestigious awards for contemporary art, it honors outstanding artists living and working in the German-speaking region.
Endowed with €30,000, the Pauli Prize was founded 70 years ago and has been supported for four decades by a private donors’ circle of the Kunstverein in Bremen. The eight nominees will present their work in a group exhibition at the Kunsthalle Bremen, where the jury will select the prize winner.
