Anthony McCall: Meeting You Halfway

 Anthony McCall: Meeting You Halfway, the artist’s first major solo exhibition in Taiwan, at the Futon Art Museum. The exhibition spans five decades of McCall’s practice, featuring his early film Landscape for Fire (1972), four horizontal Solid Light installations, a vertical maquette, as well as drawings, photographs, and archival materials.

Known for his Solid Light works, McCall explores the sculptural possibilities of projected light, creating immersive environments that engage viewers spatially and temporally. This exhibition offers a comprehensive look at his ongoing investigation into light, space, and perception.
